Those applying to be Ministry Assistants

Enquiry

  1. Contact the church office, using the contact page. You will put you in touch with the officials of Resourcing Mission.
  2. An informal meeting with the officials to explore the role of Ministry Assistant with enquirer.

Application

  1. Formal application for recognition as a Ministry Assistant. Contact the church office for an application form.
  2. Application considered by Resourcing Mission and a decision of whether to proceed to interview taken.
  3. Potential candidate interviewed.
  4. Resourcing Mission makes a decision whether to recognise the application.

Training

  1. Depending on the level of training and experience of the applicant Resourcing Mission will look at any training needs including the denominations ALPs course.

Recognition

  1. Once the candidate fulfils the requirements set out by Resourcing Mission they are able to be deployed as a Ministry Assistant within the denomination. They will be supported by an Interim Moderator in any congregation they serve.
